Iranian government spokesman Abdollah Ramezanzadeh, at the end of the weekly cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday, said about Zahra Kazemi's case that the report of the follow-up committee, which has been assigned by President Mohammad, has been passed on to the judiciary for further assessment.

Turning to the remarks of Zahra Kazemi's mother regarding traces of beating witnessed on the body of the deceased photo-journalist, he referred to the report which was submitted and said, "I have not personally seen her corpse. However, according to Health Minister Masoud Pezeshkian, the photos and films taken of her body make further investigations possible."
